zinda thay toh kisi ne paas bhi nahi bithaya
ab sab paas bethe jaa rahe thy

pehle kisi ne rumal bhi nahi diya
ab kapdhe odhaye jaa rahe thy

sabko pata hai ki ab unke kam k nahi hum
fir bhi bechare duniyadaari nibhaye jaa rahe thy

zinda thy toh kisi ne kadar nahi ki
ab munh mein ghee dale jaa rahe thy

zindagi mein ek kadam sath nahi chala koi
ab phulo se saja k kandhe pe leja rahe thy

ab pata chala mout kitni behtar hai zindagi se
hum toh yun hi bas jiye jaa rahe thy
