And yet again, people are missing the the bulk of the OP's post.
When you go to a dawat, and you see the 19 year old girl with a baby in her arms (she is married), having done zero education after high school, not really caring about politics, or public affairs, *or having any interest other than beating a dhol at a mehndi... * What do you think?
This isn't just about education. You can be a stimulating and intelligent person without having academic qualifications. Just like some people I know who have a degree but not much going on upstairs. You do wonder what they will pass on to the next generation. Certainly not wisdom or common sense but maybe a love for bollywood movies and reality tv.
