I’d like to teach my children about their religion as early as possible so they learn to make the right choices and make them out of an understanding rather than force or pressure. This brainwashing only happens in a barbaric and/or helpless society.

It’s not "their"relgion. It’s your religion that you force down their throat. Kids are brainwashed about their parents religion being the RIGHT one.

I am not targetting Islam only. All religious people are guilty of child abuse IMO the way they force their kids (directly or indirectly) into believing and following the religion that they follow themselves.
