Well, if she’s going to a wedding or she herself is newly married and invited to a wedding dawat then it’s completely fine even if she’s 47.

A little carefree attitude while keeping the dignity that your age demands is an art that not many people are aware of.
listen to what guy with "laal phoolon wali kameez" says.
:D
Re: Young at heart ..
I think more than age, one should wear clothing which flatters as opposed to what is in fashion. Some 40 year olds could pass off an anarkali better than a 25 year old. Also, it depends on what makes you happy and comfortable. There are already too many restrictions in our culture 'old people shouldn't do this/she is widowed she shouldn't wear such and such..young people shouldn't do this/wear this before marriage..etc etc'.
Re: Young at heart ..
I also think that its because of these undue pressures “one must act ones age” … that women lie about their age
… In the west , women are pretty honest about how old they are , because they know that there are no barriers for them .. they can enjoy life and wear what ever they want for as long as they want , they wont be judged ..
In the desi culture , woman is forced to hide her age , so we see cases like an average 40 year old saying “i am 16”
… or a 35 year old starting to wear dull colours for fear of harsh judgement by the people around …
LOL! Benazir is vile, she was the most boring housemate ever!
