The difference between u and OP is that you did not hide your chats. If these friends that you have frequent and lengthy chats with are female, then no it’s not wrong. If they are male, yes I do believe that’s weird. People allow themselves such openings and put their marriages at risk.
Anyhow, OP, you have a husband who keeps repeating the same mistakes and does a crummy job with covering his tracks. Actually it doesn’t look he even tries to cover them, which makes your sleuthing convenient. But apart from his fidelity, it would also make me doubt his intelligence. And you maybe need to think about which women you should continue to keep as family friends.
