Re: You’re 10, and you have facebook and a cell phone ?
My dad said the samething when he saw TV's remote in my hand when i was 10 "Beta you have a remote control in your hand and 200 channels. When i was your age we watched noor jahan and thought she was the sexiest woman alive." Barf seriously
Re: You’re 10, and you have facebook and a cell phone ?
Well i dnt think its good to introduce kids to such things at such an early age HOWEVER i have been wanting to get my 6 years old a mobile phone since 2 years :p. Just so that he can get easy access to me as his parents lock him up in his room (Read: Discipline!!!:khums:) when he wants to come downstairs and few times he dialed my number using his dad’s mobille, hahaha! So i think its high time he gets his personal mobile so i can fetch him away from these disciplinary monsters :halo::D.
Re: You’re 10, and you have facebook and a cell phone ?
^wat does he/she does with it??
sit in the toilet and dial to mommy??
"ammee pithi dho do" ???
ROTFL I have not heard that phrase since.....erm since I said it :( (many many many many many years ago)
Waise no theres nothing wrong with it....agree iwth what Lucid said, the kids may know technology BUT they still need to know what's right and wrong and how to behave.
Re: You’re 10, and you have facebook and a cell phone ?
i thought this wud b serious discussion i've seen worst things which our young ones know then having f.b or cell...i hate these parents who cant see this !! i mean its imposible to watch t.v for me,forget commercials cartoons are specially created to ruin kids!
its all because of this unnecessary exposure that we have sick, psycho etc adults
this system sucks
Re: You’re 10, and you have facebook and a cell phone ?
Introduction/Exposure to technology and giving ownership of it are 2 diff things. Our kids (8 and 5 yrs) are allowed to play with all the computers, cells and fine gadgets that we own, but the only thing that is theirs is DSI's and Wii gaming console.

Exposure to technology is not a bad thing , in fact they should be but if you compare your own childhood to those of your kids there is such a stark difference in their outlook and sense of maturity that one wonders maybe delayed exposure would be a better idea .......
Don't you get the impression that children today exude a more adult like outlook in contrast to the "innocence" or "naivette" we had at their age ?**
