well ... lets say u once n for the first time fell in love with someone during ur high school days .. I wouldnt call it the Only true love b/c you will eventually move on .. but if you fall in love with someone at the age when u r mature enough to understand ur life then it will be tough to move on ... I hope I make sense :-)

Perhaps a better statement would be that you only fall in love once but can tolerate only a few.

We CAN fall in love more then once :~) but our first love can never be compared with the rest and stays as a good memory somewhere back of our mind.

We can fall in love all over again with a different person in a different way. If someone cares for you, your family, things that are related to you and accept you the way you are why wouldnt you fall in love with them.

As far as defination of Soulmate is... Allah made our soulmate... he will make sure we do end up with them......but do we as human beings think for even a second that may be the person we thought should be our soulmate actually isnt.

I think we can make mistakes while we are chosing our soulmate Allah cant :~)

sometimes we do need to leave things on fate and wait to see where it takes us...

How love is defined changes over time, because as people we change over time. This is why I dont believe in love just once.

A person loves only once. They might pursue happiness more than once but
happiness doesn't necessarily mean love. If a person's first love works
out then they can never love another the same way. If it doesn't work
out, they still can't find it in themselves to love anyone ever again.

Loving someone regardless of whether the love was reciprocated or not,
changes us forever. I agree with someone's statement above that
love is under rated. It's is everything we don't expect it to be, and by the
time most people realize what it really is, they are in too deep.

Hindsight of past events will make you laugh and realize that all those True love high shool incidents were anything but love.

Love, to me, cannot reach intesity unless couple decide to live togather after all mariage is entirely different than dating.
