Parking may be a huge issue in NYC, and not many people have the luxury of garages/parking lot in homes, especially in Manhattan, inner city. Also some people might not have to travel outside of the city or anywhere that trains/buses don't go. I have 2 co-workers who live in manhattan & do not own cars. One of them is an IT manager and she can surely afford a car, but does not want to deal with the parking hassle for using once in a while. When she has to travel out, she plans it and usually gets a rental car. :)
And mind you the subways to get you to a lot of places for shopping, going out, etc. And if u have family in jersey, there's always a nearby train/bus stop that they can pick you up from & drop you off. :)

Why you want to move to stone age?
No electric. no gas, no bed, no fire, no NET, no car, no fashion, no make over and up, … all the time you will be sitting in the cave or on the branch eating some banana, or sitting by the bank of a river while on the other side a lion will looking at you with yummy eyes… at the night you will hear mosquito along with many other insects and wild animals, for breaking the fast you will have coconut and its water, for lunch nothing and for dinner ‘pattay’ fried …

sitting next to a river… without a sound of airplanes.. cars etc… mayb some birdss and gushing clear watersssss …

the air so clean without all the polution that i can taste while breathing..

so in the most crisp clean air.. and the fruits so fragrant and sweet without any genetic enegineering … ill have an apple fresh from a tree… il have no worries to pay bills . finish my never ending to do.. i wont need a makeover cose there will be no computer fixed model pictures around.. so the defination of pretty will be different.. hmm sounds good so far na..

the stars will be all visible in the dark night.. my soul would be in peace i m sure..
