Navtechguys, this is a typical discussions between conservative and modern muslims. they are doing it in their own country- for this instance netherlands. if u don't agree. leave it. and what am i reading, 40% muslims in UK wants muslim law. i thought brit muslims are quite modern and adaptives. i think it's only in india, muslims are quiet modern and educated.

I think it's nothing compared to the dictate that u have to veil in public to be in saudi or hoards of other arab nations.. and must not show cross or any other religious symbol in public...

that's how i works here even in cartoon episode somoen asked for an example where chritians allow denigration by a muslim on their fate a guy postes an article where some pasha was not only being not howled his denigrating play where virgin mary was topless was being sponosred by some country in europe.. boy all here started attacking that guy calling him bhindians etc etc and totaly sidestepped the issue..........

Have you ever been to Saudi Arabia? UAE? Kuwait? Bahrain? There are tonnes of “goras” who moved there because of greener pastures, so stop living in lala land where only “subcontinentals” move to Europe or America

cynic, while you're talking about 'western standards of freedom', do all citizens residing in India get the same treatment and 'western standards of freedom' as those enjoyed by the citizens living in the west?
If memory serves me correctly, just recently I came across an article here about how a particular group wants to break free from India. Then just a few days ago, I met someone who told me how people from his ethnic and/or religious background aren't too happy with the Indian government either.

exactly, they live over there almost like they live in their own countries, they are not pushed to grow beard, dress like Saudis, put veils on their women etc, then isn't it idiotic to ask immigrants to be assimilated into the values the "government" wants them to?

The difference is being guest, when you come for job for shorter duration or visit and of person immigrating/asking for citizenship and saying I want to make this country my country....
Yes, if you want to be citizen of Saudia, you need to follow rules of that country.... and if Saudia feels that due to cultural differences they are facing problems, they have full right to show people movies (not force) of people with beards, women with viels and etc etc.
Movie isn't enforcing, movie is to tell new citizens that the things in moive are normal in that country and are happening openly so they should be ready for them and don't get offended by that... and if they get offended, they are free not to take the citizenship...
