Yes. When you are feeling smart, you might be actually dumb and when you are feeling dumb you might be actually smart. Its only later do people get to realize it, only in some circumstances

That still doesn’t answer my question…I meant there are times when I can’t tell the difference…
So what does that mean? That I have reached an equilibrium beween being smart and stupid? heehee:D

True. You will automatically realized it later, smart or dumb. Even at frist it might seem 50-50. Telling the difference takes time even after going through the "subject" few times, I believe.

Since I am writing all this and maybe if you are a good judge, can you tell me if I am dumb or smart?

allah know's best will decide who is very clever or who is dumb. as far as you r concerned lajo, i would say you are a very intelligent person who sadly iz often misunderstood on this discussion board.

I think its not the case of you recognizing if you are smart or dumb, its all about how ppl whom you care about make you feel.. atleast that's the case for me.. i can be feeling extremely down but when i hear from special someone of how my idea (that i thought was stupid) is a wonderful idea only with some suggestion added.. its makes me feel a little confident and appriciated..and i try to do the same with others..

Smart or dumb depends on perspective. You pick any chimpanzee (anybody from General would do too) and to them youre smart. When pit against say Salahuddin Ayubi you'd be dumb as a doormat.
Lajawab ever went back in time to a scene where you had to make a decision and then you shiver out of embarassment and think 'WTF was i thinking!' Well you were dumb then, smart now.

Some ppl r really smart …they analyze things abstractly n logically but when it comes to common sense (impulsive response) they cannot react immediately n sharply.
