Ugh!! What is it with you desi women and household chores… you will find all kinds of excuses to not do anything at home… even putting somethign in its place.
Why are you like that
Its like saying ‘put that plate on sink dont leave it on table and be lazy, putting it on sink is no hard work’
Well then why dont you women put it on the sink yourself if its not hard?!
Or ‘put shoes in shoe rack and dont leave them on the carpet its not hard is it’ well if its not hard then why tell of us men and why not put it yourself?!
(And no for people with no sense of humour, I am not a sexist, blame Mia’s thread )
I won't like to generalize but women in upper middle class of society in Pakistan finds it very hard to work . They kinda find it insulting and demeaning . A reason when they have to come and live in America , they cry .
shak09 has a point, i have lost count of the times I have read posts on this forum by desi girls who think it some kind of bonded labor or torture to keep a 2 bedroom apartment clean when there are 2 ppl living there and cooking one time a day.
I think we should ban MIA for expecting her poor hubby to change the light bulb. I mean what gives man, the guy works whole day and you are just 7 month pregnant. He definietly has a better reason not to even touch a tinka once he comes home.

This is one question that makes me scratch my head everytime I read it (someone needs to answer it before i go bald :( )
I don't understand why some women think its zulam on them to do household chores? why do they take it as an insult if they have to take care of just the kitchen?
And I'm talking about women who don't work and have nothing productive to do.
And if these women think it's justified to not to do anything, why do they find it wrong when a man stays at home all day and does nothing and lives on someone else's money?
In another thread, women were justifying divorcing a man if he loses job and does not try hard to get another one. Why shouldn't this rule be applied to women?
P.S. to those faarigh women who don't do anything, please don't take it personally :)
last time when we went to pakistan my chachee(who lives downstairs and we upstairs) was peeling garlic and watching star plus when we went out, we returned after 2 hours she was still sitting there doing the same thing:D.
she has a lady to clean her house including dusting, washing clothes and ironing (4 member family), and lady for help if she needs to cook for more than 4 people.
she is about 25kg over weight and doctors told her to loose that other wise she is in serious problems and she started 40min daily
Why do men do funny things like leave their socks lying all over the floor...or the cap off the toothpaste tube...or wet towels on the bed...or shoes in odd places in the house!
I mean, how hard is it to pick up your socks, walk to a hamper and simply....drumrollllllllllllllllllllllllll..............DROP THEM IN THE HAMPER?????????
Because they don't wanna. I have lived on my own since 21. Taking care of the house is easy. Cooking is easy. Working, socializing, cleaning and cooking all together? Now that is hard work.
Women have it easy and they complain. My shoes are there because I know where to get them next time.
The best way to make sure your wife never touches your stuff again is leave some very important and urgent papers in a very odd place. She will 100% move them. When she does freak out and tell her if you can't find them you will be fired.
Sure fire way to make sure she never moves anything ever again.
i dont bother anymore... :) if it bothers me enough, i'll pick it up and put it away myself.... otherwise i will leave it for days until ive made a point...
depends on my mood.
Plus, its really not that hard to do something urself.
is not abt doign it urself or not…true i waste more energy in tryign to explain it to my siblings how annoying it is…but its reallllyyyy annoyingggggggggg…
specially if u clean before leaving for work and come bk to see shoes…kamrey ke beech mai…and socks too…and the dress they changed to go to the gym and and and
when it gets toooo much i just cry and tell abbujaan
