dont now what happened to the topic of this title i started but the plan was to post my arts and crafts there from time to time. Would be good if no one deleted it. :bummer:
here is my new project. the watch started out as more ’ steampunk’ but i love my native bead bracelet and ended up using it on it. the other one is native. all work is hand work. hardest part was to sew the leather of the watch.
oh these are so cute! indeed you are very craft weasel!
just a silly question… but it is a little bit unclear from the pic so asking…does the watch has staps on the both side or one or is it like a pendent watch thing?
I am sure the stitching on leather must be quite hard but you did an amazing job, very tidy and nice.
thnx lusi, see the 2 buttons on the skinny stap of the watch. there is a sister part under the pendulum shape of the watch they fit in there. it is a wrist watch.
just finished.
I just finished raw amethyst and sterling silver necklace will post soon.
here is my raw amethyst necklace. it didnt come out as i imagined it but whatever.
All metal is serling silver and every bead is raw amethyst. now i need something to wear it with.
we have a bead store in town where i love going and collecting from. this one is lapis. i collected the charms and used seed lapis beads and old silver to put this together.
finally finished these for the out side last week. Acrylic paint on canvas. i also sprayed with clear protective coat just in case cause they are hanging outside the door.
and Lusi last one is not a painting but paper cutting. I used thick water color paper for this and sketched the design i wanted to cut. Next time though i'll go for regular drawing paper which will be easier to cut i'm sure.
thnx kumar, my this years fav so far is the one titled ' i missed the train'. I am fascinated by fantasy and morbid too. whether i show it in my art and craft is quite an other matter though. ;)
