kids fall, & they get up, they say. kids also need to be constructivist and explore their environs on their own - even toddlers should be able to do so. of course the parents will and should ensure that the objects in the environs are not unsafe, but one set of grant parents to blame the other set of grand parents, if the child fell in their house by chance, is so not right.
that kind of family competition is afoot not as something in the best interest of the child, but a way to keep letting down one side on purpose.
just one more alibi to make the parents in law - daughter or son in law, relationship more strained.
