so why am i able to view certain blogs but not able to comment on them? :hoonh:

Because the Blog owner has chosen so by editing the oprions in the "Blog Control Panel"

and if the blog owner has not chosen so, it still happens with the old entries... ppl are not able to comment on OLD entries for some reason.
