When a girl says to a guy ’ You are very nice’, it means ‘sorry mister butyou are not my type. Try elsewhere’

My opinion:
If you hear this from a man friend: You are a very nice guy.
That definitely means that something is wrong with you. Either you are too polite or sissy or something similar.
If you hear this from a girl friend: You are a very nice guy (but).....
The "but" in the end will make all the difference even if there is nothing after but. Without "but" is a positive remark. Refer to my topic on the ladder theory.

Noor- The situation you said can be true but very rarely.
Lydia-- I think that is true for opposite case too. A ‘nice’ label from opposite gender is a sign

last night itold somebody that u r really nice and very sweet and i really meant that.wh yshud a girl wu do such thing k kahay kuch aur aur sochay kuch aur.aesa nahi hota hai.if i dont want to talk to guy or i dont likle him i simply tell him that leave me alone. i dont want u as a frend.and if the person is trying to hit on me i simply tell him that dont flirt with me.simple.is mein itna ghuma phira k kehne ki kya zarurat hai.wo koi mujhe maar thordi dega.:)
