You are given an opportunity to go to Mars

and be the first Human being to step onto Martian soil and attaining the fame that Armstrong did, perhaps even more than him, but:

a) The journey is one way and 100% safe but you will never come back to Earth however you will have 24/7 communication with Earth including family

OR

b) Two way journey fraught with risks with no guarantee you will even make it to Mars alive

Would you do either one, considering the fame and history that will forever be associated with your name?

Yes. Nothing could be more exciting to me. I don't care much for fame. I just want to see for myself.
