I mean, in a society where discussion based on facts are welcome, then why do they forget about the FACTS? Jews=Semites, Arabs=Semites, Zionists= NOT semites and Israel= a COUNTRY.

I personally believe the reason for this is to cover up insecurities and to make the questioner feel guilty for even being critical. It's silly really. The minute you start to question anything Zionist, it become a "sin" or a "conspiracy theory".
The reason for the blind love, from what i can understand stems from a victim mentality. The zionists have the Americans doped into thinking that the native christians (i.e. Jews) are not to be abandoned, and must be supported at all costs. WASP and Evangelicals are the more sincere supporters of Zionist agenda.

It is not really complex question and may not need 5 pages worth of discussion.
If you single out Israel as a source of trouble without looking at the big picture, then your analysis will be flawed.
There are only a handful of groups who commit this blunder. Some of these groups base their flawed analysis on the religion (this is mainly done by Muslims) and the other groups make mistakes because they use old-European style fascism as the base of their analysis. Thus we get an anti-Israel lobby who is dominated by Islamists-n-fascists.
So just ask yourself, a simple question. Is the well spring of your hatred against Israel comes from a religious foundation? If so that is a sure sign of anti-Semitism. If on the other hand, your raves and rants are based on America-Israel relationship (or the hate for it), then you are at the minimum a socialist if not a fascist.
BTW. These are not some new words. Study Europe's history and you will find your answers all by yourself. FYI Pakistani-Islamists are really kids and new-babies in this game. Europeans have been at it for a long time. Just like Europe (hopefully) learned a lesson, someday Pakistani-Islamists too will learn their lesson. There is no way to predict when that learning would happen. Only time will tell.

My anger is not directed toward any religious group nor any 'people' in general. What if my distaste for Israel stems from it's decades of glaring human rights violations, and the system of neo-apartheid that it's government has adopted towards the Palestinians? I have serious issues with any country that shows such blatand disregard for the rights of it's minorities, be it Sudan, India, or Israel.
