Re: Yosemite National Park

I have been there three times. I think there are some motels inside the park. you can check park's website.

Re: Yosemite National Park

i had the most amazing experience over there , and it's gonna be real beautiful esp this time of year , we spend the night at the tents (in curry village )which r available at the villages over there , but there r big cabins & logdes available too both r good options if u don't wanna camp or don't hav yr sleeping bags with u , for hike go on to see half dome ( it's too painful to reach the top though ) it's too scenic , also there r other waterfalls where u could hike around , tours r also provided , u could even drive around to see more of it's wilderness ............... all in all loads of fun, enjoy ...........

Re: Yosemite National Park

you can go to the Glecier point, and come face to face with the half dome. This time around u can see yosemite falls also. The meadow, with mountains with falls at the backdrop, is like looking at a calendar ... NOT worth it.

Re: Yosemite National Park

plenty of info on the NPS site. two weekends ago, a friend and i spent three days camped out exploring the park - both yosemite and toulumne valleys. enough stuff there to keep anyone happy for a few days. this part of the year is perfect if you want to see the magnificient waterfalls; later on they dry up. i would highly recommend the vernal falls hike in the yosemite valley, and the sentinel dome hike near glacier point. if you are in good shape and want a more serious hike, do the half dome!

one point of caution though - if you are spending the night there, make sure you have reservations for camping/lodging. i dont think they permit backcountry camping.
