I get about 5L of fresh milk twice a week and somehow,I had excess of it 2 days back so I made yogurt out of about 3L of milk. Mu husband likes it but he is off for hajj so I am not cooking much saalan/curry etc or making tea for him because i hate chai myself. I used about 4 big cups of it to marinate chicken for hyderabadi biryani and froze it for the guests when my husband is back IA. any ideas what to do with the remaining of it? it’s just me and my two kids (4 and 1y) at home so please keep that in mind about the usage.
with milk, I am making firni or maybe kheer or gajrela so it will be used there ..
With the remainder of the yoghurt, make raita for your biryani:
Grate one lauki, boil it with very little water until cooked and all water is evaporated. Mix into dahi. Add salt, zeera powder. Then in a few tbs of heated oil, add curry patta, dried red chillies, mustard seeds, and chopped green chillies. When mustard seeds pop, add 1 tsp kashmiri mirch, pour evenly over dahi, garnish with cilantro. Goes real well with biryani.

Hmm..apart from guests...could you use it to make a dish of a larger quantity....the could be given to someone who is "needy" ? If you feel it may be too much food for you...then consider making something to give to family/friends/someone who needs it, etc
thankss for the advice everyone. I ended up sending both to my mom's and she will do whatever she wants :D hubby is off for hajj so I guess I am toooo lazy to cook anything :D
