Yoghurt

OK so I applied a lot of yoghurt to my hair today and left it on for 30 minutes. My hair is quite dry and MashAllah now when I look at it, it looks so different. If anyone has complaints of their hair being too dry. I highly recommend yoghurt. When you apply it please make sure you apply lots on your hair. Don’t let the product dry on your hair, wash it off after 30 mins ( before it dries off).

If anyone decides to follow my advice please do come here and report back

Good luck girls

Re: Yoghurt

Thanks for this - my hair is soo dry! Is there a specific yogurt to use? I've heard a egg and yogurt mixture is also good?

Re: Yoghurt

There is a particular mixture I've been using :

Egg yolk + yoghurt (about 3 tbs) + olive oil (just a bit-2tbs) - I don't usually measure, I'm just telling in andaza. (apply with care and leave on for 30 mins)

It's awesome, especially for thin and dry hair.

Re: Yoghurt

Oh-and don't use the crappy yoghurts like yeo valley, go for the pki kind like pakeeza. Sometimes I use creme fraiche :D (it's soo thick, helps a lot)

Re: Yoghurt

mayo has wonderful affects too!!

Re: Yoghurt

so what you do after washing off the yogurt...shampoo your hair and condition????

Re: Yoghurt

I used natural yoghurt. Please don't use any flavoured ones or even the Greek yoghurt. You need plain natural yoghurt :)

noshiawan after I washed off the yoghurt I used Johnson's Baby shampoo ( that's what I normally use)
