how do ppl (who have doen it) find it… is it just relaxation or does it also involve physical stuff or am i thinking of aerobics ![]()
I've done it and found it to be pretty booooooooooring. I now do Pilates instead which is like yoga but without all the hippy stuff and meditation. The results are better too.
you have to be inthe mood for Yoga.
besides you really have to become an expert to feel it working.. the beginer stuff is more to help you relax then a workout.
i did yoga and ran away in less than a month coz it was hecka boring n weird ![]()

Glad to hear that I'm not the only one that found it boring then. I also went to this weird LA inspired antenatal yoga class when i was pregnant........they made us dance around the room with ribbons. Needless to say I didn't go back.
Yoga is a great thing…it invloves controliing your breathing while getting into various positions with help trengthen and tone your muscles and even has prven effects on your mental and physical health.
I do about 40 mns of yoga about 4 times a week and it really works in toning my body and you can FEEL it work :k:
I prefer aerobics or regular exercise over yoga.

I do Power Yoga. It is very intense ... really works pretty much every inch of your body including your arm muscles. I think you have to be a bit strong for this. It was tough for me the first time round but the more I did it, the better I got at it. :) Be prepared to sweat if you do Power Yoga. Yoga and pilates ... for me it's the only way to go. :)

to be honest i want the more physical side than mental thing but i will have to see .. its one of the socities at my future uni so i will go check it out and see if it suits me wasay 40 mins of it 4 times a week wow :p
