Does anyone attend these? I was recently told by my physician to consider doing yoga once a week for weight loss.. has anyone taken these classes and what was your experience like?

Love it love it love it - you have to get used to the moves and stuff but once you get a hang of it you'll want to go in - its amazing what it can do for your body - I started seeing results in as soon as a weeks time alongside with a weight training class and dance :)

What I love about the yoga classes I go to is that the instructor shows you how to modify the positions in case you don't have the full range of flexibility as others. And while it may look easy - it really is very effective and you work up a sweath. I find that power yoga is an intense workout - so definitely worth a try.
