give it a couple of days - this forum is slower than the other GS mainstream ones. I'm sure there are a few international students around.

no loger an international student, but unlike most ppl here, I have never been anything but an international student - except after MBA in some of the executive programs :)

the batch after rome were part of a semester long rotational program in international business where we had seminars of a few weeks length at these unis.
I had come to US with the intention of going back to UK after undergrad, the way my dad looked at it was that in UK I would not be eligble for home student fees since I had not been living there since childhood and the tuition was high enough that I could go to a uni in US and pay the same.
I decided to come to US cuz in UK i would be living at home with my uncle's house next door, and that aint no fun.
after undergrad I looked at what was the best option for me for my masters regardless of what country and stayed in US for masters, was double minded about going back ..felt more at ease here and had a better network, but then always had the plan to go back to UK eventually.
Then I met my wife, she had a strong preference for US, and since I was 60:40 for US vs UK, i decided to stay.

real jawab, its depends on the person, every place has its pros and cons. find the one that best fits your style and needs.
