…Rain!! woohoo! 
it’s awesome out there…not the sissy rain that’s been occuring for some time. but this time, there was thunder, lightning, and rain!
I was watching it from the front door with my khala…when all of a sudden a burst of lightning, followed by the loudest thunder. Mashallah, SubhanAllah…that’s the kind of rain that I live for.

yea i know...i had to move away from the window once it started the sissy rain. so that's why the thread started now.

ohhhhhhh and the rain killed a baby birdy too! it's outside my deck's door. on a wet soggy rug.

Sorry don’t wana spoil your fun, just wanted to point out a little thing. I don’t think one should say Mashallah or Subhanallah when there’s thunder and lightening out there. One is supposed to say, “Allahumma Inni Auozubica Min-ur-Ra’d-e- wal burq” Oh Allah I ask for your refuge from thunder and lightening. When you see clouds coming, you should say, “allahumma Inni Auozubica Min Sharre ma feeh” Oh Allah I seek your refuge from the “sharr” of this thing.
You can go ahead and still enjoy the rain, thunder or lightening, I just thought I may point out what I learnt. Please don’t be offended.
