Another video surfaced, which shows Saddam’s body right after he was hung. A closeup of his face was shown and alot of bruises can be seen, and his neck was tilted 90degrees, and blood all over the area where the knot hits the neck. Its very graphic and sad at the same time. May Allah have mercy on Saddam’s soul, but one thing that I felt, the man after reciting the Kalimah as his last words looked very peaceful. Maybe this just shows that Allah opens his doors of mercy for anyone who repents, or maybe even remembers him.
A little irrelevent but I also think the Pakistani Channel Geo should stop showing these videos so abruptly.
Well, GEO isnt really national television my friend, but its clearly the most watched one in Pakistan. I have seen them show many graphic videos before and I always find it very disturbing, as they do so immediately without any disclaimer. They showed this saddam video right in the middle of some drama serial very abruptly.
this is pathethic......there r few ppl like my self who cant handle to see gore graphic images.... this needs to be stopped cuz its can effect a younger mind quicker than anybody....i'm sure theres gotta be a human rights division or television censor board in pakistan which should take action against this GEO network watever the name is.... these suckers show stuff like that just to raise the viewer ratings..... in media there is no sense of respect to human beings...... all that matters is ratings.... and i'm amazed there is majority of ppl who infact like to witness a human execution. (freaking animals)

His peaceful expression must have come from a mistaken belief that he is the chosen one - the king - the ruler - the one who was allowed to hold people's lives in his hands by none other than Allah. Yes, may God have mercy on his soul, it must be in terrible torment.
