I’m worried. I bought some chicken fried rice from a nearby chinese place. The rice is yellow-colored. Like someone cooked it in halthi.
More like halthi chicken fried-rice.
Its from an AUTHENTIC chinese resteraunt, or so that is the subtitle of the resteraunt. I was just wondering if chinese rice really is supposed to be colored yellow!!!
fried rice is generally not yellow, unless he cooked "Mexican" rice first and were out of "Chinese" rice and made a "Chicken fried rice" out of the Mexican one :D
OR
He "fried" the eggs in rice and that yellow color was from yolk :D x 2
PCG, perhaps it is yellow curry, I know other asian cuisines do use curry in their rice such as red and green curry.. So perhaps it was just a curry paste that gave it its yellow tinge
