Yeh SaaRhu kiyaa balaa hai?

Many years back, Sadaf had opened a thread “yeh bhaaoo kiya balaa hai?”

Some people took it as “bahu” and they said bahu, laRkaY kee biwi kaa apni saas say rishtay kaa naam hai…

dude! what ?

Some started saying Bahu bahu.. sniff sniff… wonder why

anyway, so was checking some of my old posts while searching for something, I again came across this thread…

This popped up another question in my mind… I used to wonder “Yeh SaaRhu kiyaa balaa hai”… Later I found out Hum Zulf is SaaRhu…

Quite a strange title.. SaaRhu.. I mean, it rhymes with JhaaRu…

Why would someone come up with this naming convention?

Share some other ajeeb-o-ghareeb titles…

India Punjab mein Phuppa ko phuppaR keh tey haiN. KukkaR aand PhuppaR.

I thought it was "sandhu" or perhaps that's punjabi equivalence of it.
