for the past three hours all i’m seeing on geo is news and news only and it’s getting redundant now. How many times am I gonna read about that doctor who killed two of his nephews or watch shoaib excersing.
I understand it’s a news channel first and that it’s in a testing phase in USA but if this is how they want to conintue in the future then count me out, i ain’t subscribing. Let’s see how’s ARY now.
If you are expecting to watch anything other then news on Geo at this time then you are dreaming. Entertaining Programmes start after another seven hours or so.
I don't know about ARY but Geo has got a variety good of programmes.
ARY dramas suck too. WTH? As unbelievable as it might, Prime's dramas are way superior to the crap that Geo and ARY play.
Geo's other programs are very very good though. Their weekly telefilms are always a treat and their show "Do Sitaray" with Fakhr-e-Alam is good too.

bhai i know why that is. See it is late night in pakistan and there they show news for 4 hours when everyone is asleep. See you are watching the testing stage. They are broadcasting live from pakistan so that is why your seeing news over and over again. I called their number and they said that within a week they will reshuffle their programs in USA where you watch non news programming all day long and watch news 4 in the night to 8 in the morning.
DON'T BE DISCOURAGED. THEY WILL FIX THE PROBLEM WITHIN A WEEK.

yup thas what i'm told. Both channels drama suck big time especially of ARY and also that ARY's programmin line up mostly consists of bollywood shows.

actually Gohan. I must say I saw one really good drama on ARY though after a couple of horrible ones. The drama's name is "Opar Gori Ka Makaan". It's got some good (the girl from Jaidee dramas) and some great actors (Qazi Wajid) in it. and the drama is devoid of the diseased that afflict today's dramas, i.e., excessive glamour, weak story etc.
the drama's story is very simple and it looks very good.

some over the hill, cheap comedian who should not be anywhere close to mainstream TV but these private stations are bringing back the worst of the worst.
Hanif Raja's comedy appeals to every two year old I know. Anybody older than that tend to throw chappals at the TV after watching him for a lil while.
