We’ve all heard about the evil red meat. Studies show that daily consumption of red meat and pocessed meats lead to increased chances of heart disease and cancer.
So people CUT DOWN THE REDS!

Re: Yeh "lal" rang
Can you please list what exactly is red meat?
And to decrease chances of heart disease and cancer how often is it "safe" to eat red meat (like how many times a week maximum)
Thanks
that is meat but not red
red meat is usually referred to bakra, cow.gainda hathi meat ,even camel meat too i guess:hmmm:
chicken has less fat i suppose.but the reason i love it is its light for the tummy and digests soon
Re: Yeh “lal” rang
But some parts of chicken meat are also red…like the thigh and leg pieces ![]()
Re: Yeh "lal" rang
well I may be wrong in saying it's red meat but the chicken breast is the healthiest portion with the highest protein and leanest fat content.
Re: Yeh "lal" rang
I love red meat but we only have it a few times a month in our home...chicken, fish and veggies the rest.
Re: Yeh "lal" rang
Totally avoiding red meat is also not good either. I have seen this trend recently. You can always get lean/extra lean cuts such as beef undercut/mock tender and these cuts are surprisingly more healthy and less fattening than chicken wings. Just don't buy marbled meat parts. Keeping a good balance is important, eat in moderation!
