lollywood and making quality movies .. I believe that ![]()
well reportz from UK are very encouraging … though therez nothing new to offer in this movie but itz the muziQ & camerawork and acting of some actorz which is worth your money :k:
Rab Rakha
DerVaisH
apparently the choreographer and playback singers are from bollywood. nice to see bollywood and lollywood work together. now if only they could come up with something watchable.
Yeah, I think is that actor's movie... can't remember his name, he made the movie "Jau Dar Gaya Woh Mar Gaya" before. Heard alot about it, I think the movie is shot in Spain on hollywood grade Panavision cams and was edited on non-linear systems. Also, this is Pakistan's first sync sound movie... where dumbing is not the primary source of dialogs, and actual sounds are recorded. I think Bollywoods first sync sound movie was "Dil Chahta Hai". And if paying Bollywood a few bucks to make music can generate more profit for Pakistani movies at home and abroad, I don't mind. "Tere Pyar Mein"'s movie was done in India, Sonu Nigam sand some very nice songs... and the movie featured Indian Army's brutalities in Kashmir... so it's all good. :)
i don't quite agree with Javaid's Shaikh's choice of Indian singers.. It would have been a great idea to start a talent hunt and give some new voices a chance.
I agree completely about hiring Indian choreographers though. I've heard of foreign help with the cinematography as well... post processing is also where Lollywood is ill equipped and it makes sense to get that done outside.
Haven't seen the movie yet but heard enough reviews that say it's an ordinary story but the quality has attracted many viewers across Pakistan.
I just posted up an article on this.
The movie was worse than your average Indian flick.
