yeah guys we use the cousin version of bhaow called boggie man to scare our kids .. but only while they're between 2-4 yrs old. After that the kids start to scare you !!! :)LOL

no no Sadaf my mother never said that dont do this varna Bhaow aa jaay ga OR soo ja meri bacchi varna Bhaow aa jaay ga.
She alwayz said soo ja meri bacchi varna Daddi Amma aa ja'ain gi.
So in my opinion Bhaow is the other name of grandma, who is not only a grandma but iz the SAAS of mummy and the mother of dad.

One more story, once upon a time my cousin was saying her daughter soo ja meri bacchi varna JIN BABA aa ja'ay ga.
I asked,"So dear cousin who is that JIN BABA from whom u r scaring this little baby?"
She answered,"Actually this JIN BABA is my future DAMAD(son-in-law) or better to say this little babyz'future husband, i m preparing her for that JIN BABA right from her childhood"

All I want to tell you all that NYAhmadi had made very very terrible and insulting comments about the Prophat Muhammad (PBUH)
We all muslims needs to think about this persons mentality NOW or people like him would get more encouragement

Promoting Islam and Pakistan positively won't insult your intelligence.

Teeheee... Ami naay tho kabi naheen daraya. But I do remember Nani jan trying her best to put me to nap in the hot-afternoons, threatning that if I don't, Kharmatoo BhaOw wud cum and make me go insane like him, too. She used to make sounds like;;

BiLOoOoOoooOOo,, OOOooOOooOOOoOOOoOOoo...
OoLo, OlooolOoOOOoooOOo (like the type the juglies make in movies) and Say, "Oy jani so ja, wo anay wala hei!" I'd quickly shut my eyes tight!

Man! Did I ever freaked out, but inside my heart, I always desired to meet this BHaoOo.

For some strange reason, to me, "Bhaow" resembles the monster/genetic abberation shown in the movie Watchers. Anybody feels more or less the same way if you have seen the movie?
