Yes but Spock - the average middle class folks dont really dress like this...they almost can't afford to. To make these kind of clothes you either have to go to a pakistani boutique - and the ones that hold these dresses are expensive ones - or you make one yourself thru the local darzi and that doesn't happen too often.
The third way to get these kind of clothes is if you've got cuzins or friends living abroad that will bring you this stuff.
Otherwise, this fashion trend is mostly limited to elites and that too at their exclusive night parties. You wont see rich girls dressed like that on the streets or at work.

PCG, youre right, but I have seen such dressing throughout, I mean being born and raised in Islamabad, and attending a good school... Be it bonfire, halloween, eid milan etc, girls in our school used to dress like that...

Do we really need to follow some one elses culture and prove the point "we are so cool". The photos look so unnatural and disgusting. These guys are partying in there and outside 40 % of pakistanis are wondering whether they will be able to get a meal for all family members the next morning.
