Pakistan's favorite rock group Junoon has just recorded a new song entitled "Maza Zindagi Ka", which is the Official Song for the Pakistan Cricket Fans. The song’s video is being directed in Karachi by the leading Pakistani Director, Mr. Jaleel Akhter of Fat Cat Productions who previously directed the videos for Junoon’s songs “Heer”, “Talash” and “Saeein”. The video for "Maza Zindagi Ka” will be released in a Special Ceremony on 6 February 2003 in time for the Cricket World Cup in South Africa. The song is Junoon and Coke's Tribute to the Fans of Pakistan Cricket.
Salman Ahmad of Junoon said:
“Everyone and their Mamu has sung a song for the World Cup Cricket Team, but no one ever thought of paying tribute to the real people behind Pakistan's cricketing passion: the Pakistani cricket fan…So why not make a song for them? It’s a fast paced tune which will hopefully strike the right chords in people's hearts as they follow the fortunes of our cricket team. Our sponsor, Coke, has agreed with me that we should release this song as "the Official Song for the Pakistani Cricket Fans".
