whatever they are doing ...they are at least not killing other in the name of religion
Re: Ye konsa islam hey?
These are sufis and music and dance are part of their beliefs all over the world with some variation. Here are some sufis from Chechenyia.
Re: Ye konsa islam hey?
The first video is shows people doing things that are unacceptable according to Shari'ah, the second video does not infringe on the Shari'ah as a result of their actions. It's quite clear to see the difference between these two. The third video is hiding the real Sufis and making out these practitioners are actual Sufis ... notice how they make it seem Islam comes in two groups that are poles apart - but the reality is there is a whole spectrum in between the two extremes.
Re: Ye konsa islam hey?
Above video only shows the attachment and love towards Islam that many have … and also shows the contrast that one sees amongst many who left Islam to become kharjees, killing innocent Muslims and questioning faiths of others. It is surprising that even today there are millions who are not only attached to Islam, but show their attachments and love to Islam and people who they admire in whatever way they know, that they do without harming others.
For these people you see in video, Shariah is secondary to love they have towards Allah, towards Prophet (SAW), towards family of prophet (SAW), and towards people they know and believe brought Islam to them or people who in their opinion were close to Allah (so they have created connections with them and show their love towards them for their connections with Allah).
These people do not rely on Shariah and laws of Islam as much as they rely on their love and affection towards Allah and people close to Allah. For these people, Jannah or Jahanum is just a name, so they prefer to leave their afterlife in the hands of Allah and judgment of Allah, whatever that judgment maybe, without any fear of Jahannum or love and desire of Jannah.
It is just like love of cat towards his master/owner. A cat may not realise that his biting or scratching is not liked by his master/owner, but that is what cats know best when showing their love and affection, and thus they do that regardless. Surprisingly, cats’ master/owner may not like when cat bites or scratches, but knows that cat is showing her love, attachment, and affection … and it is that show of love, affection and attachment that makes cat’s master/owner carried away that they are willing to do anything for the cat, may even cry when seeing their cat in pain.
Now, as an idiot, one should not ask me that I approve what they are doing or not, as I am not them, and my love and affection may have different type of manifestation than them.
Anyhow, I can only say what I believe, and that is, on judgement day, selfless love and affection of a person towards Allah and people close to Allah, without harming others, would be much more powerful and strong deed that Allah would like (as according to my belief and knowledge) than any other deeds.
Re: Ye konsa islam hey?
There is hadith that … people who would be successful on judgment day would not be successful due to their works and deeds, but due to love and forgiveness of Allah.
It implies that those who rely on their works and deeds are surely going to find hell waiting for them on judgment day … and those who rely on love, affection, forgiveness and charity of Allah on judgment day will have good chance of success and to be close to Allah on judgment day.
And obviously, one who would find love, affection, forgiveness and charity from Allah on judgment day would not be one who would rely on their work and deeds, but would be one who would show love, affection, forgiveness and charity towards other human beings (regardless of who they are … as all are creation of Allah), and also love and affection towards Allah and those close to Allah (or those one believes are close to Allah).
We should also know that ways of showing love and affection are different for different people (as it comes from inside and not from outside) ... and that is how they show such inner feelings ... that only Allah knows best as only Allah can know the love and feeling that one have inwardly when one is showing that outwardly.
Re: Ye konsa islam hey?
I watched some of the first video, well the editing is dishonest. I mean there is like some clips of people dancing stuck together to make 1 video!
I doubt the videos credibility, clips have been joined together to make a shockingish video but it seems the clips are not all to do with any particular gathering
The two impermissible actions I saw in that video was women dancing in mixed gatherings and Transvestites dancing in front of men, lewd dancing is impermissible full stop so it does not matter if it is a man or women
Re: Ye konsa islam hey?
We who're educated see Islam as a very streamlined religion. We take knowing the Kalma, 5 pillars, love for the Prophet (saw), Hadith etc for granted but it would be frightfully ignorant of us to not realize that Islam, for people who haven't had a dose of Islamic studies exams, a Qari, or knowledgeable parents, is very fluid and mystical. They are not taught how to express religious devotion or even what's wrong or right. There are places in interior Pakistan where reading the translation of the Quran has been banned so can you imagine the same religious leader teaching anything worth while. Sufism is also quite complex for an average human being. It's very easy to mix and dilute messages by the Sufis to create your brand of worship. Not all of it is right, not all of it is wrong. I think it's less them and more people who're around them that have wronged them.
Re: Ye konsa islam hey?
Who cares if it is Islamic or not... Everyone ends up in his/her own grave. What difference does it make to anyone?

true. I'll take this religion over the one which calls for beheading and stoning.
