But islam is neither modernize nor extremist, but quran emphasises on amar bil ma'ruf wa na hee anil munkar, so its not personal at all, i hope you will agree on this point

I do agree with 'Amr Bil maroof, wa nahee anil munkar', but sometimes it is misused that has created a resentment for the whole concept in new Muslims (educated class). This Amr Bil Maroof is being used by terrorist organisations like Al-Qaida for their worldly purposes and promoting their version of Islam. When you are going to preach, then tolerance is first thing to adopt.

But it has nothing to do with islam, every muslim has duty to learn islam. Not what they are doing, last part is what in surah al asar tawasi bil haq and tawasi bissabr:)so may Allah guide them Ameen
