you are igniting [unintentionally I am sure] a big fitna with this thread
there are 2 common views
1-commonly held shia version off karbala which progressively got exaggeratted the more it was narrated a trend which even some shia ulema criticized] which in reality little to do with tabari's original version of the event
2- a revisionist view [read ummayyad apologist's view] which attempted to clear the ummayyads of all charges and lay the blame on kufans [which is a very diverse term]
and Ali[as] and his sons as ummayyad governers? lol
let us see what the authenticity of this "discovered" diary is which challenges the commonly agreed facts by all historians whether it is tabari, baladuri, ibn hajar, ibn atheer etc
also plz tell me which magian assainated Ali[as] ?
