Actually he did a army under hussain b Nomair that besieged Makkah but it was lifted after yazids death
While muslim b aqba attacked and pillaged Medina killing hundreds of Ansar
It was the second siege of makkah under hajjaj sent by abdul malik b marwan that revolt of ibn zubair was eventually quelled

i thought everyone believed that medina was attacked and kaaba was destroyed by yazid’s forces. theres even sahih ahadis referencing it

Question is, leave aside whether he murdered Imam Hussain or whether their murder and his family’s imprisonment in Yazid’s courts was one big accident, someone who is directly responsible for burning the kaaba and committing atrocities in medina, would you still not condemn/curse him and consider him “muslim”?
