It’s being reported in the Media that if and when Yawar Saeed (who has had an issue with Younus Khan) asks Ijaz Butt for Younus Khan, Butt will approve him. Yawar Saeed is the head of this tour’s selection committee.

When Ijaz Butt came to the PCB he got rid of Geoff Lawson and replaced him with senile old Intikhab Alam, he replaced Shoaib Malik with Younis Khan, he replaced Talat Ali with Yawar Saeed...etc..not to mention the hiring and the firing/forced resignations of Aamir Sohail, Abdul Qadir, Salim Altaf, etc -- point being Ijaz Butt has overseen the destruction of whatever little respect Pakistan cricket had in the world and has made us a laughing stock worldwide with his senile decisions, incompetence, bans and flip-flops.
He lives on the buddy system which is why people like Yawar are still around...when in reality they should have been put out to pasture a long time ago, just like Ijaz Butt himself.
