So why the ban then? Is PCB going to control each and everything the players say in private? He didn’t give an interview. He was talking to someone who secretly recorded the conversation.

Privately you dont go around bad mouthing your colleagues in order to gain some favour with guys you hardly know. The punishment meted out to him is fair. He has not been banned for life just for one season.
