No dought he is a very talented player but he has to learn how to stay on wicket for longer period.

do u think hameed can open in tests... cuz farhat isnt going to do anything... what about butt/hameed opening with younis one down or butt/younis with hameed one down like he normally plays in tests... farhat will sit and we'll have the left/right opening combo as well
Yeah I would like to see Yassir back. He has smoe problems with his batting no doubt, but fundamentally he is a stronger player than Farhat. Farhat has had some decent scores, but his batting style does'nt give me much confidence.
Can u imagine if Saeed Anwer played a few more years, would have relieved a lot of worries.

His technique is seriously flawed. Note how many times in tests and ODI's he has been bowled. Top order batsmen don't usually get out bowled.
yup he has a couple of problems especially his front foot defense... it looks really ajeeb...i hope he sorts it out cuz he is really talented

Yasir Hameed likes to drive the ball on the up and he will get some of 'em. However he needs to develop a good backfoot defence against the short balls and if possible, he should refrain from playing balls wide outside the offstump. But messing around with outgoing balls is typical of all Pakistani batsmen in the past and present so we should not expect him to do something against the tradition :)
I believe he has the ability to play a couple of good knocks on the aussie tracks. Good luck to him.

The two solid options pakistan has for a good future strong openers ... imran farhat for some reason doesnt have the temperament . and his shot selections are too risky and taufeeq umar isnt consistent...
for some reason i see a good future in these two youngsters...
