Good Good, Maybe he can become british citizen and play for England, we obviously won't use his talent.

Is that possible to do that i.e. become British and play for England even though you may have played for another country before?

Yes, I think you have to live in England for 4 years after getting citizenship to become eligible for selection.

Graeme Hick is an example who played for Zimbabwe and then England. It was thought the Stuart Law will try for English team seletion after leaving Australia and getting british citizenship.

It is also allowed under ICC regulations. Kelper Wessels played for Australia and then South Africa.

Don't think even if he qualifies he will get selected for England.

Totally agree. It will be best for him, since he is still young to get british citizenship and try to get in ENG team. I think his chances should be fair if Flintoff injury aggrevated, since england doesn't have a genuine alrounder to replace Freddie.

Or he should join a Tableeghee jumaat and grow beard if he want to be even a part of 16 or 14.

I have always wondered the reasoning behind the continuous process of picking the street garbage in Sami and Iftikhar over the talent who holds merit in its own category. So much so for the 'rotation policy'.
