gold is so expensive these days..i think its too much to give gold to groom mother or sister.
I need to know what trend goes around so please tell when you or your cousin or your friend or your sibling got married:
Did you give dresses for any of the functions to your friends? close cousins? Dadi? Bhabis? etc. as well?
If you are from the guy's side, did you gift suits after the wedding too? Or did the girls side give clothes for all your family & relatives too?
If you were from the bride's side what did you give to the groom's immediate family & relatives?
If you were from the groom's side, what did you make fro the bride?
In all of the weddings so far in the family:
No dresses for friends or cousins. I dont have a bhabi (no brothers) and my dadi lives in Pakistan.
To the groom's immediate family, we have given clothing to each member. Watches and colognes for the brothers and father of the groom. Gold to the groom's mother.
