It’s quite an old song (and really touchy and groovy) which I have heard alot of times. Up until today I used to think Junoon sang but. But today on tv I saw this song and some other band was singing it. Any one know who sang it then if i’m wrong about Junoon?
i think jupiter sang it first and then junoon…or something like that…i’m not sure..i used to think junoon sang it too

yeah jupiters sang it a long long long long time ago and then junoon did becuz ali azmat was in both bands.
"Dosti" was first released in Jupiters first album which came out around the same time as VS1. The other hit song from Jupiters album was "Mera Dil Hai Pakistan".

I dont know if they split or not but they had a lot of vocalist. There was this bald guy who sang "Sarey Gidday Wichoon", then there was this Kiyani guy (I dont know if any relation to Hadiqa or not) and I think wet metal's vocalist Fawad also sang a few soings for Jupiters.

Jupiters is still alive, its just they dont release many albums, all they do is perform live. They have performed a few times after commencement ceremonies at E&ME NUST Rawalpindi, and I heard they did it again this year, so they are very much alive and kicking! Lets hope another good singer pops out from that old, yet alternating band.

jupiters are alive and kicking. just couple of years ago, they released their 4th album [bali] and it was a hit album. the track [yaro yehi dosti hai] is from vol 1 and vocalist was ali azmat. a remix version of this album is in vol 4 :~)
