what does this word mean to you? in what context do you use it? do you use it in a convo with anyone (be it male/female)?

i use it with everyone. guy or girls. i sometimes end up saying yaar to friends of friends (guy ones) and i go oopps

good...good topics ur making while bored :p. Well i use the word "yar" aisey hi...this and the word "bhai" just slip out everytime. And its a problem because some people may take "yar" as a sign that they can get frank or as if i m getting frank lol...and wats worse is that some people take offence when i say "bhai"...that really gets to me.

baji jee, aik hota hai bhai, jis main alif hota hai. aik hota hai bhayi, jis main alif nahin hota. aap shayed alif walay bhai ki baat kar rahi thin.
