yaad nahin kya kya dekha tha saare manzar bhool gaye us ki galiyon se jab lauTe apna bhi ghar bhool gaye

Khoob gaye pardes keh apne divaar-o-dar bhool gaye
sheesh-mahal ne aisa ghera mitti ke ghar bhool gaye

tujh ko bhi jab apni qasamen apne vaade yaad nahin
ham bhi apne khvaab teri aankhon mein rakh kar bhool gaye

mujh ko jinhon ne qatl kiya hai koi unhen batlaye “Nazeer”
meri laash ke pahloo mein vo apna Khanjar bhool gaye
