I have only heard it being used within Ismailis like people mentioned. Even twelver Shias use the original Salam, I have never heard it out of any other setting than from Ismailis for a greeting. I’m not sure what the purpose of this thread is though, a PSA on how to say salaam?

Oh that’s right, I guess I don’t know any Bohris but I’ve heard that too now that you point it out.
