The Kenyan government recently formed a committee to look into the potential Y2K problems. The committee in its first meeting decided that it will issue its report in April 2000.
An Indonesian government official when asked about how they were approaching the Y2K problem replied “Well the new mellenium will start at least six hours earlier in NZ and Australia. We will monitor the situation there and if there are any problems we will be ready for them when the mellenium arrives”
