Tell him he need to get his act together otherwise this engagement is off.
If he is controlling you before marriage think of what he will do afterward.
He is narrow minded and needs to learn a thing or two about relationships built on trust , love and respect.

I wouldn’t go that far. Have a civil conversation with him about issues that are important to you, whether it be this, or anything else. The last thing you want is to start things off with resentment slowly building, because that only will lead you down a bad place. Good luck and stuff!
