Y IBLIS BEING BLAMED FOR DISOBEYING AS ORDER TO BOW WAS FOR ANGELS & IBLIS IS JINN?

Re: Y IBLIS BEING BLAMED FOR DISOBEYING AS ORDER TO BOW WAS FOR ANGELS & IBLIS IS JIN

How about you think it this way that it was a test for Iblis. He failed miserably.

The creator wanted everyone to acknowledge that for Jinns or Angels, there is only one option. Obey the command.

Also, when carrying out the command, human, Angels, or Jinns, they should not look for others sideways to decide, just carry out the command.

For human, there is one and only to bow, the creator himself. In this regard as well as having the ability to choose, you may call human better than others, but only if submission is proven. Otherwise, no value of being human.

Worship encompasses all forms of servitutde and I think the answer lies in the hadees posted by Pagluu in post #2.

overall i agree with this comment, the believers seek wisdom, their questions are for increase in their own ilm.
the type of questioning the former? zorastarians encourage is not unislamic it is actually anti-islamic

for example in 2:260 the zorastarians with their need for questioning do not see the "yes" at all. they frame it to make it sound like ibraheem alaihi-salam is questioning basic faith
for those who have been taken aback by such attacks, this tafsir will redirect you to the wisdom of the quran: Some people have offered strange interpretations for the two abovementioned extraordinary events. But there is no need to make far-fetched interpretations, for Allah is able to do everything He wills, as the person referred to in the first event declared. **Moreover, Allah's dealings with His Prophets are of an extraordinary nature; for an ordinary believer does not need to see actually the Reality with his own eyes for the performance of his duties but it is essential for the mission of a Prophet that he should see with , his own eyes those realities towards which he has to invite the people. The Prophets have to tell the people with full and firm conviction: "We have seen with our own eyes those realities about which your knowledge is based on mere guess-work. You are ignorant; but We possess knowledge; you are blind, but We possess sight." That is why the angels came to them in person so that they should see them with their own eyes. They were also shown the actual working of the system of the heavens and the earth, and Paradise and Hell and Resurrection after death. Though the Prophets believed in all these things even before their appointment as Messengers, they were made witnesses of the realities after their appointment as a special favour and distinction of prophethood. (For further reference, please see E.N.'s 17, 18, 19, 34 of Surah Hud, Xl).

^ thank you for agreeing ..Overall...
i read the replies but do not want to get in stupid arguments because it is in Quran that those who want to spread fitna latch onto the "mubham" ( vague) subjects of Quran.
how can you or me Question Quran, word of Allah?

ur post is very nice shardmanny...

Re: Y IBLIS BEING BLAMED FOR DISOBEYING AS ORDER TO BOW WAS FOR ANGELS & IBLIS IS JIN

My brother, you have completely misunderstood the nature of 'questioning' we had been reffering to. Take 2 simple case examples, CASE 'A'; I post a question to my father "How did you solve such and such issue?", and this type of question will be considered a positive question with positive effects and outcome. Case 'B'; I ask my father "Why did you solve such and such issue?", then this type of questioning will not be considered positive as I will be seen as questioning my father's authority and his right to take an action itself.

Quran welcomes and encourages the first type of questioning and it is full of verses inviting centemplation and positive probe. One clear example from the Quran is the story of Kalimullah Hazrat Musa (as) and Hazrat Khizr (as) as it highlights the importance of knowing the purpose behind actions. Many other verses demand contemplation on the words of Quran and naturally this will lead to the positive form of questioning and thus ultimately increase in knowledge and faith.

Though I suppose you may think that I am implying that we are allowed to question the commands of Allah (swt) and His Prophet (saww)! that actually is different and clearly fodbidden in our religion. Once a person says shahada and enters the realm of Isalm then there is total, unconditional submission to the God Almighty and His Apostle. One similar example of that; If you want to be convinced about the qualifications of a doctor, you can check his certificates; his level of studies; and so on. But once you're convinced about his qualifications, you will not hesitate to accept whatever medicine he administers.

*Polite reminder! - *

Please stick to the topics. If we allow ourselves to get distracted by blaming groups whilst we are discussing with one another then we will neither come to an understanding nor will the thread come to a natural close.

Please stick to the topic and avoid mentioning 'groups' when someone says something that could be associated to a group. For our purpose on this thread we are all participants in a religion forum discussion board - if you wanna talk personal then write a blog. Peace
