XMAS DINNER.

Who has a roast turkey/chicken with all the trimmings blah blah on xmas day?

Re: XMAS DINNER.

Sadly not us. My mom decided to make rounds at the hospital, so those that celebrate xmas don’t have to.

And since I’m at home, I’m gonna cook up aloo gobi. Is that xmas enough :hehe:

Re: XMAS DINNER.

I am invited at one of our friend's house at dinner tonight. I personally don't celebrate Christmas but couple of these friends insisted that me and some of my friends come for dinner.

Re: XMAS DINNER.

lol yep…gobhi is the desi equivalent of sprouts. Both are green and both give you gassy.

Re: XMAS DINNER.

yummm..we have roast chicken and beef cooking at our house. And many of our guests are coming to our house for dinner tonight. My mom also made desi food too because my dad can't live without it.

Re: XMAS DINNER.

lol i dont do the whole Christmas dinner or anything to do with christmas..i was just wondering how many people do!

Re: XMAS DINNER.

This is the only time of the year we can buy halal turkey. So a good reason to have a turkey lunch with all the trimmings adds to the fun

Re: XMAS DINNER.

We often do.. but not this year..

Re: XMAS DINNER.

We all had turkey apart from my uncle who thinks it is haraam to eat the same meat as Christians on their religous festivals.

Re: XMAS DINNER.

I was invited to a friend’s house. Lots of food and then his MIL gave me a doggie bag with home made cookies too.
